Cyril holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and an MBA from the Loyola Institute of Business Administration, India. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India (FIII). With over 23 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry, Cyril oversees the Energy portfolio at Oman Re, leveraging extensive technical knowledge and strong market expertise. He has won the MICC award for Insurance Paper (2013) and SK Desai Insurance Essay Award (2012) and his writings on Insurance topics have been published in Middle East Insurance Review, Oman Observer and Smart Manager.
